Explore the Langtang region on our Heli-trek, which offers a unique opportunity to explore the Langtang region in a short time. You are flown on a chartered helicopter directly to the settlement of Ghora Tabala, the beginning point for your trek to Langtang village.
Itinerary
A day of trekking to Kyanjin village follows; yak pastures and quaint villages can be encountered en route. Kyanjin Gompa or Cherko Ri (5000 m) makes for a great vantage point for sweeping views of the Langtang valley and Himalayan Peaks. A government-operated cheese factory also makes for an insightful and fascinating look into the local people of Langtang’s culture and lifestyle. On the third day, a helicopter flies you back to Kathmandu from Kyanjin.
