Philanthropic or Corporate Social Responsibility Trekking Tours in Nepal

Empowering Communities in villages below the Everest trekking trail.
Embark on a transformative journey with our Philanthropic Trek, where we invite businesses and individuals to give back to less fortunate communities in the remote villages surrounding Everest. This is an opportunity to participate in philanthropy and corporate social responsibility while immersing yourself in the rich cultural tapestry of Nepal.

Our carefully curated itinerary takes you off the beaten track, away from tourist crowds, to pristine and unspoilt areas of Nepal. This allows you to experience the untouched beauty of the Himalayas while positively impacting the lives of local communities.

We focus on sustainability, cultural preservation, and community development throughout the trek. We place utmost importance on preserving the villages and their beautiful cultures, ensuring they remain intact for generations. By immersing ourselves in these communities, we foster mutual respect and appreciation.

As you trek through these picturesque landscapes, you’ll be rewarded with awe-inspiring views of iconic mountains such as Everest (8,850m), Lhotse (8,501m), Makalu (8,463m), and Kanchenjunga (8,586m), creating memories that will last a lifetime.

We are committed to responsible tourism practices, minimizing our ecological footprint, and positively contributing to the villages we visit.

Our projects focus on education, healthcare, infrastructure development, and environmental conservation, addressing the specific needs identified through comprehensive assessments.
Join us on this unique adventure, where ethical exploration, cultural immersion, and philanthropy intertwine to create a meaningful and memorable experience.

Let’s empower communities, preserve their traditions, and pave the way for a brighter future.

Bring charity for various projects in the remote villages that are out of the tourist trail below Lukla.

On the return flight, the airline does a mountain flight before bringing the group back to Kathmandu.

  • Every six months, another group from the Sponsor Company comes for a CSR trek (if possible, we can make other arrangements to provide a progress report) and checks on the progress of previous projects.
  • We will bring rubbish from the villages, and the airlines we fly will bring the garbage to Kathmandu.
  • Have discussions with villagers to ask what help/priority aid is needed.
  • Help women’s groups from a village with funding. They collect membership fees, which give loans for interest. With the profit from the investments, they buy land to expand their local school, etc. A few years back, they offered all the money in their account to help a fellow woman get treatment for her failed kidneys.
  • Women Empowerment.
  • Help sponsor girls from low-income families to receive education in an excellent private school in Kathmandu. Then, plan to train bright students in the U.S., perhaps even providing them employment with a Sponsor Company.
  • Pay for the installation of electricity for more impoverished families.

Itinerary

Upon your arrival, our courteous representative will eagerly await your presence at the airport. They will warmly greet you and assist with any luggage you may have before escorting you to your designated hotel. During the journey, they will provide any necessary information, answer your inquiries, and ensure your comfort throughout the transfer. Rest assured, our representative will strive to make your arrival in Nepal as seamless and pleasant as possible.

After a fulfilling rest at the hotel, we will embark on the next phase of our journey. We will arrange a scenic flight to Phaplu, offering breathtaking views of the Nepalese landscape. Upon touchdown, we will proceed with a comfortable drive to the trek’s starting point.

From there, we will commence our trek, immersing ourselves in the region’s natural beauty. The initial leg of the tour will be a pleasant two-hour hike, leading us to one of the villages where our dedicated staff members reside.

This unique opportunity allows us to connect with the local community on a personal level. By visiting the staff’s village, we gain valuable insights into their heritage, way of life, and cultural traditions. It creates a genuine exchange and fosters a deeper understanding of the local community’s challenges, aspirations, and needs.

During our time in the village, we will engage in meaningful interactions, experiencing firsthand the warmth and hospitality of the locals. We may participate in community activities, share meals, and gain a profound appreciation for their customs, enriching our cultural journey.

Our staff will be on hand to facilitate these interactions and act as cultural ambassadors, interpreting and bridging any language or cultural barriers that may arise.

As we embark on this walk to the staff’s village, we set the tone for the philanthropic trek, forging a connection that will resonate throughout our journey. This experience serves as a reminder of the purpose of our expedition – to empower these communities and leave a lasting positive impact.

(Note: The description has been edited to provide a more engaging and descriptive account of the journey from Phaplu to the staff’s village.)

Embarking on our trek, we will traverse a captivating landscape, passing through charming villages and traversing lush forested areas. Immerse yourself in the stunning beauty of Nepal as we make our way towards the breathtaking viewpoint.

As we venture through the villages, you will have the opportunity to witness the daily lives of the local communities. Absorb the sights and sounds, marvel at the intricately designed homes, and interact with the friendly villagers, learning about their traditions and cultures. This circular route allows for a comprehensive exploration of the region, and by retracing our steps, we deepen our connection to the places we encounter, appreciating their significance with newfound insight.

As our unforgettable trek nears its conclusion, we will embark on the final leg of our journey. From the viewpoint, we will begin our descent, hiking through picturesque landscapes until we reach the roadhead.

The trail back to the road-head will allow us to retrace our path through the beautiful villages and serene forested areas we encountered earlier.

Take this opportunity to immerse yourself again in the charm and tranquillity of the surroundings as we bid farewell to the mountains and prepare for our return to civilisation.

Upon arrival at the road head, we will transition from our trekking adventure to a comfortable drive that will take us back to Phaplu.

Sit back, relax, and enjoy the scenic beauty of the landscapes that unfold as we journey through quaint villages and rolling hills.

The drive back to Phaplu will provide a chance to reflect on the incredible experiences we’ve had during our time in the mountains. From the warmth of the local communities to the breathtaking vistas, this journey has been a true testament to the beauty and diversity of Nepal’s landscape.

Once we reach Phaplu, we will have the opportunity to unwind, reminisce, and celebrate the successful completion of our trek. You can indulge in the comforts of the town, capture lasting memories, and savour the flavours of the local cuisine.

An extra day as a safety net in case of unexpected situations like flight cancellations or other unforeseen events. This additional time allows flexibility in rescheduling flights, making alternative travel arrangements, or simply adjusting your plans without disrupting the trip. It’s a strategy to account for potential disruptions and ensure a smoother travel experience, offering a buffer to handle unexpected challenges.

After your remarkable journey through the stunning landscapes of remote Nepal, it’s time to fly back to Kathmandu, the vibrant capital city. As you traverse the scenic route, you’ll have the opportunity to reflect on the breathtaking sights and experiences you’ve encountered during your trip.
