Thank you for considering our trekking company for your adventure in Nepal. We specialise in offering secluded and non-touristic trekking holidays, allowing you to explore the lesser-known and unexplored trekking routes beyond the famous regions of Annapurna, Everest, and Langtang.

To preserve the pristine nature of these locations, we prefer not to disclose the specific names of the camping sites we use. We aim to maintain their exclusivity and protect the environment by doing so. Our knowledgeable guides, native to these regions, enable us to take you to remote areas with only a few tourists. They possess invaluable insights about the landscapes, cultures, and histories, enhancing your trekking experience with their expertise and local perspective.

Your journey will be comfortable with our expedition-style camping setup, which includes three-person tents for every two trekkers. We also provide essential facilities such as a dining tent, a toilet tent with a portable toilet seat, and a shower tent. Our experienced team, consisting of a trek leader, assistant guides, a trekking chef, and helpers, is dedicated to delivering the highest quality service throughout your Himalayan adventure. They will ensure your comfort and provide the necessary support along the way.

This off-the-beaten-path trek is suitable for many individuals, including beginners, families, corporate groups, and school excursions. With the highest point reaching only 3,365 metres above sea level, it offers a well-rounded adventure accessible to trekkers with different fitness levels. One of the highlights of this trek is the opportunity to immerse yourself in the cultures and lifestyles of Nepal’s ethnic communities fostered by the route traversing agricultural regions. This not only provides scenic vistas but also offers an authentic experience of the local way of life.

As a responsible trekking company, we prioritise sustainable and ethical practices. We encourage our trekkers to adhere to Leave No Trace principles, minimising their environmental impact. Additionally, we promote respect for local communities and their customs, fostering cultural exchange and understanding.

Safety is paramount during your trek. Our guides are well-trained in wilderness first aid and carry necessary medical supplies. They will provide continuous support and guidance to ensure you have a safe and unforgettable adventure in the remote regions of Nepal.

Join us on this off-the-beaten-path journey, where you can discover Nepal’s hidden treasures, connect with diverse cultures, and create lasting memories amidst stunning natural landscapes. Experience the beauty and authenticity of these lesser-known trekking routes that go beyond the well-trodden paths of Annapurna, Everest, and Langtang.

Most trekking days on this journey typically involve approximately five to six hours of hiking, so a reasonable fitness level is required. Throughout the trek, you will be rewarded with unparalleled panoramic views, including glimpses of magnificent peaks like Mount Everest, Lhotse, and others on clear days. However, the highlight of this trek is the ascent up a 3,365-meter hill, where you’ll be treated to an awe-inspiring view of the mountain range. From Mount Dhaulagiri in the west to Mount Pandim in Sikkim to the east, this panoramic vista stretches over a distance of under 500 kilometres. It showcases eight mountains above 8,000 meters, including Mount Everest, and hundreds of peaks ranging from 6,000 to 7,000 meters tall. For an enhanced experience, we recommend bringing binoculars to marvel at the grandeur of these mountains up close, given the vastness of the vista.

Join us on this extraordinary journey to explore the hidden treasures of Nepal, embrace the serenity of untouched landscapes, and create lifelong memories. This trek offers an off-the-beaten-track experience and the best panoramic views of the Himalayan peaks.

Useful Info:

Please note that the itinerary for Day 2 and Day 11 of our trek is subject to change due to the non-touristic nature of the area and limited flight operations at the small airport. • Trek away from the crowded trails in your private social bubble
  • Experience authentic Nepal
  • Our trekking chef’s holistic/nourishing food is prepared with superfood ingredients for our culinary and wellness factors. This will help you get better nourished, regenerate cells, and acclimate to altitude.

Note: You can pre-book a seat on a direct helicopter flight from Kathmandu to Lukla and return for an additional US$500 per person each way. You will avoid the 4-5 hours drive to or from Manthali. For example – if you decide to book a helicopter seat for both ways – US$1000 extra needs to be added.

On this trek day, we traverse undulating terrain enveloped by lush rhododendrons and oak forests. The trail follows a fair-weather road, which, despite its presence, sees very little traffic. As we hike through this serene environment, we are surrounded by the natural beauty of the forest.

After completing a satisfying portion of the hike, we set up camp above a Tamang village. Nestled within a lovely forest setting, the campsite offers a peaceful ambience. Nearby, we discover an opening utilised for organic farming—an opportunity to witness sustainable agriculture. From this vantage point, we are treated to glimpses of the distant Himalayan Peaks, constantly reminding us of the awe-inspiring landscapes that await us.

For those seeking an even more remarkable perspective, we can embark on a separate hike to a designated spot renowned for its panoramic views of the Himalayan peaks. Our journey continues as we make our way towards a pristine Sherpa village. We will primarily hike on a broad, fair-weather road to reach our destination. This road is advantageous for trekkers as it offers a safer and more convenient hiking experience, thanks to the light traffic it receives.

As we ascend, the surrounding landscapes unfold before us, gradually revealing the vastness and grandeur of the panorama. Once we reach the viewpoint, conveniently timed around lunchtime, we are greeted by a magnificent sight. The broad panoramic views offer a mesmerising display of nature’s splendour, allowing us to appreciate the sheer magnitude of the surrounding vistas.

During this moment, the true extent of the panorama can be observed, granting us a comprehensive understanding of the vastness of the landscape and the prominent peaks that dominate the horizon. The experience of witnessing this panoramic view firsthand is genuinely unforgettable and offers a distinct perspective on the beauty and majesty of the Himalayas.

After enjoying the breathtaking views, we descend to our campsite, strategically located just below the top of the hill. The campsite, nestled within a forest, provides shelter for our tents from the wind. This serene setting allows us to relax and immerse ourselves in the tranquillity of nature, rejuvenating us for the remaining days of the trek.

This day of the trek combines an exhilarating climb to the highest point, a captivating panoramic view, and a peaceful campsite amidst the forest. It is a culmination of physical and visual rewards, making it a memorable highlight of our journey through the Himalayas.

Today holds a unique opportunity for us as we prepare to witness the panoramic view of three Himalayan countries. To fully immerse ourselves in the awe-inspiring surroundings, we have extended our stay here for an additional day, allowing us to savour the solitude, serenity, and profound connection with nature.

From our vantage point, the Himalayas stand majestically in the forefront, their towering peaks a testament to the sheer magnificence of these mountains. As we gaze upon this mesmerising sight, we are treated to an expansive vista of countless valleys stretching west and east, painting a picturesque scene that invokes a sense of wonder and admiration.

Adding to the grandeur, we are bestowed with the sight of the Terai region in southern Nepal. This diverse landscape, characterised by its lush plains, is a striking contrast to the towering peaks of the Himalayas. The harmonious coexistence of these varying terrains embodies the multifaceted beauty of Nepal and its neighbouring countries.

During this extra day, we can fully embrace the solitude and tranquillity of this remarkable location. The presence of the Himalayas serves as a silent companion, inspiring introspection and contemplation of our place within the broader tapestry of nature. It is a time to connect with our inner selves, finding solace and inspiration amidst the grandeur of our surroundings.

This day allows us to truly appreciate the splendour of the Himalayas, the expansive valleys, and the remarkable panorama that spans three Himalayan countries. By immersing ourselves in this serene environment, we create lasting memories and forge a profound connection with the natural world.

Today’s trek takes us along the ridge line, guiding us through a forest adorned with occasional clearings. We are treated to plentiful views as we navigate this picturesque terrain, provided the favourable weather and the clouds do not obstruct our sight.

Walking near the ridge line offers a unique perspective of the surrounding landscapes. It allows us to witness the interplay of light and shadows as they dance upon the mountainsides and valleys. The occasional openings within the forest reveal captivating vistas, inviting us to pause and appreciate the natural beauty surrounding us.

During this approximately 6-7 hour hike, we can soak in the breathtaking scenery and connect with the serenity of the surroundings. Each step brings us closer to our destination, offering a sense of accomplishment and a deeper connection to the natural world.

As we approach the end of our trek for the day, we find ourselves near a Sherpa village, where we will set up our campsite. The presence of the village adds a cultural element to our journey, allowing us to observe and appreciate the traditional lifestyle and rich heritage of the Sherpa people.

Throughout the day, we traversed the ridge line, enjoyed stunning views, and embraced the tranquillity of nature. As we settle into our campsite, the memories of our 6-7 hour hike will remain with us, serving as a testament to our physical endurance and ability to immerse ourselves in the wonders of the Himalayas.

On this leg of our journey, we will hike along a dirt road that stretches for approximately 4 hours. Our path led us through the rugged terrain, immersing us in the natural beauty of the surroundings. The dirt road’s rustic charm added to our experience’s authenticity, making us feel connected to the land we travelled upon.

After the invigorating hike, we will be provided with packed lunches, ensuring that we are nourished and energised for the remainder of our journey. As we enjoy our meal, we can relish in the breathtaking vistas surrounding us, basking in the serenity that nature bestows.

Following our lunch break, we depart from the dirt road and transition onto a blacktop road, which signifies our approach towards civilisation. The smooth surface beneath our feet serves as a stark contrast to the ruggedness of the previous trail. Yet, it opens up new possibilities and conveniences as we progress towards our destination.

Our journey continues as we drive towards a small town en route to Kathmandu. This town offers a glimpse into the local culture, allowing us to explore its unique character. Here, we will find a small hotel that will accommodate our stay for the night, offering comfort and respite after the day’s adventures.

Sharing stories and laughter amidst fellow travellers’ company will deepen our camaraderie and appreciation for our journey together.

After satisfying our appetites, we continued along the road towards Kathmandu, each passing mile bringing us closer to the bustling city. The landscape gradually transformed, with the panoramic views giving way to urban sights and sounds.
