A 14-day Royal Enfield expedition from the streets of Delhi through Himachal's apple valleys into the lunar wilderness of Spiti and Ladakh — crossing some of the highest motorable passes on Earth, including Umling La (5,883m), the world's highest. Day by day
Arrival in Delhi
Airport transfer, then afternoon sightseeing — India Gate, Kartavya Path, Lotus Temple and Akshardham.
Delhi to Shimla (via Chandigarh)
Fly to Chandigarh and transfer to Shimla for a trip briefing and motorcycle handover.
Shimla to Kalpa
Ride into the mountains along the Baspa and Sutlej rivers to the apple village of Kalpa.
Kalpa to Tabo (via Nako)
Enter Spiti Valley, sort permits, and ride to Tabo, stopping at Gyu to see a 500-year-old mummy.
Tabo to Kaza (via Dhankar, Komic, Hikkim, Langza)
Explore Spiti's high villages — Komic (highest motorable village) and Hikkim (highest post office).
Kaza to Jispa (via Key Monastery, Kunzum Pass)
Visit Key Monastery and Kibber, then cross Kunzum Pass to reach Jispa.
Jispa to Tso Kar
An epic day over five passes including Baralacha La and Lachung La, across the More Plains.
Tso Kar to Hanle (via Tso Moriri, Nyoma)
Ride to the astronomy village of Hanle, past the shimmering Tso Moriri lake.
Hanle to Umling La and back
Summit Umling La (5,883m), the world's highest motorable pass, then return to Hanle.
Hanle to Pangong (via Tsaga La, Rezang La)
Cross to the famous Pangong Lake, pausing at the historic Rezang La memorial.
Pangong to Nubra Valley
Ride to Nubra via the Shayok road or Wari La, depending on conditions.
Nubra to Leh (via Khardung La)
Cross the iconic Khardung La, one of the world's highest passes, down into Leh.
Leh to Delhi
Fly to Delhi; afternoon exploring Old Delhi — Jama Masjid and a rickshaw ride.
Depart Delhi
Breakfast and transfer to the airport for your onward journey.
